From 8 to 12 September, the RECRO team participated for the sixth time in Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the automotive aftermarket. This year, the exhibition brought together 4,400 exhibitors from 80 countries and more than 112,000 industry professionals from 173 countries.
THE INDUSTRY IS CHANGING – AND SO ARE WE This year’s exhibition clearly reflected the changes taking place across the automotive industry, driven by electrification, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. Increasing attention is being given to electric and hybrid vehicles, advanced diagnostics and new repair technologies. For the RECRO team, the exhibition was an opportunity not only to explore the latest solutions but also to attend industry seminars and expand our knowledge, particularly in electric and hybrid vehicle diagnostics and repair. At our stand, we highlighted RECRO’s expertise in automatic transmission and drivetrain component remanufacturing, our technical testing capabilities, as well as solutions for commercial vehicles and industrial machinery.
MEETINGS, DISCUSSIONS AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES One of the greatest advantages of Automechanika is the opportunity to meet partners from different countries in one place. With our long-standing partners, we discussed our existing cooperation, market developments, parts availability and pricing trends, as well as how we can adapt to changing market conditions and work together even more effectively. At the same time, the exhibition brought new contacts and business opportunities. We established connections with more than 15 potential customers and cooperation partners from Finland, Sweden, France and Spain, including automotive repair workshops, transmission repair companies, spare parts suppliers and distributors. Since the exhibition, we have already received new quotation requests and are continuing discussions on regular transmission supply and remanufacturing, test orders and other cooperation opportunities. Five days in Frankfurt were filled with valuable conversations, new knowledge and ideas for the future.
