1. What Are Cookies
Cookies (and similar technologies such as local storage) are small pieces of data stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help a website remember your preferences and understand how it is being used.
2. Who We Are
This Cookie Policy is issued by SIA "RECRO", registration number 40003878797, registered address Zeltkalna iela 15, Cēsis, LV-4100, Latvia ("we", "our", "RECRO"). It applies to the website www.recro.eu.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are required for the website to function correctly and cannot be switched off. They do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising.
- recro-lang-chosen - remembers that you manually selected a language, so we do not keep redirecting you based on your browser's language setting.
- recro-consent - stores your cookie consent choice (accepted or declined) for up to 12 months.
- recro-scroll-pct - temporary, cleared when you close the browser tab; remembers your scroll position if you return to a page.
- recro_shop_request_cart - temporary, cleared when you close the browser tab; remembers the products you added to a quote request in the shop.
4. Analytics and Marketing Cookies (Optional)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website - which pages are visited, how people navigate the site, and where we can improve. This information helps us improve the site and measure the effectiveness of our Google Ads advertising (for example, how many inquiries a particular ad brought in).
With your consent, the website also stores the following in your browser:
- recro_attrib - remembers which ad or campaign brought you to the website (the ad click identifier, UTM parameters, landing page, referring website domain and time of arrival), so we know which ad your inquiry or contact came from. It is kept for up to 90 days and is deleted if you decline consent.
- recro_lang_ref - temporary; if the website automatically redirects you to your language, it keeps the referring website domain for one page load so the source is not lost, and is then deleted.
These cookies are only set after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you click "Decline", no Google Analytics or Google Ads cookies are set, and Google receives only limited cookieless signals (Google Consent Mode). You can change your decision at any time - see Section 7.
We do not use Facebook Pixel or any other third-party marketing tools other than Google Analytics and Google Ads.
5. Third-Party Services
With your consent, Google may set cookies on this website through Google Analytics and Google Ads.
To protect our contact forms against spam and automated abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA. It is only loaded when you start filling in a form and may set a Google security cookie (_GRECAPTCHA). This is necessary to protect the form and is not used for advertising.
Google's own data practices are described in Google's Privacy Policy.
The branch location map on our Contacts page uses OpenStreetMap and CARTO map tiles. Contact forms are processed on our own server. None of these services sets marketing or advertising cookies.
6. How Long Cookies Last
Necessary cookies persist in your browser for up to 12 months or until you clear your browser data, except for session-only storage which is deleted when you close the tab. Analytics cookies, when active, follow Google's own retention periods. Ad source information (recro_attrib) is kept for up to 90 days.
7. Managing Your Consent
You can accept or decline analytics and marketing cookies at any time using the banner shown on your first visit. To change your choice afterwards, click "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time - check your browser's help pages for instructions.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
